From Bastion to Brewery
The long history of the brewhouse begins in the early 1600s, when Christian IV constructs a bastion to protect the capital against the enemy's bullets. Just eight years later, the bastion is converted into a brewhouse that can brew beer for the navy's many thirsty soldiers. However, in 1767 a fire puts an end to the brewery. The building is thereafter used for storage and later for the exhibition of royal sculptures. Today you can see more than 300 of them.

The specific activities during the event must be approved by the Agency for Culture and Palaces, the National Museum, and the fire authorities.
Therefore, it may happen that it is not possible to make changes on the day.
